| Ed is a self-taught painter. While serving in the United States Army, in his free time, he started painting. Ed served our country in the Vietnam War.
He stopped painting in 1973 to raise a family, build a house and chase the American dream. In 1994 he picked up the brushes again. He would complete 5-6 paintings per year, but only has a hobby.
After gaining self-confidence under the direction of Greg Segwart at the Stifel Art Center , Ed resumed his passion for art. Ed was quoted as saying, “I have a passion for oil painting and plan to perfect my skills for the rest of my life.”
Please stop in the Shadyside Library and view his works of art. Ed's paintings will be featured the entire month of May. |
